Lamae has a 20+ year diverse background in training and development. Her career started as the Head of Training for a large theme park in San Antonio. She worked closely with the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions, (IAAPA). As a member of an International Training Committee, Lamae developed and implemented training programs for theme parks and attractions across the U.S. and internationally.
Lamae met Linda Thompson at La Quinta Inc. while Linda was VP of Human Resources and leader of a high performing training team. Lamae became part of the team and designed, developed and implemented programs which helped affect major cultural change within the corporation.
Lamae was president and general manager of the upscale restaurant chain, The Lighthouse Cafes. She has also focused her consulting and training activities with over twenty hotels across the United States.
